About the maker

Hi, I’m Milo. I build Notion templates like real systems.

I’m an engineering student who has spent 3 years treating Notion like a design problem: define the workflow, structure the data, remove the friction. Every template here is built that way.

My story

Why this library exists

Short version: I wanted free templates that work as well as they look.

01The problem

Templates that looked great, then fell apart

I started using Notion in 2023 to organize my own courses, and like most people I began with free templates. Many looked great in a screenshot but fell apart in daily use: tangled structure, databases that didn’t fit together, and decoration that didn’t do any work.

02The engineering approach

So I treated Notion like a design problem

I’m trained to design systems, and Notion is where I apply that thinking. I moved from simple pages to relational databases, rollups, formulas and full dashboards, and settled on one method for everything I build:

  1. 1Define the workflowEvery template starts from a real workflow, not from a layout.
  2. 2Structure the dataDatabases, relations and properties are shaped around that workflow.
  3. 3Remove the frictionIt is tested in daily use before release, and anything that does not earn its place is cut.
03The promise

Free, tested, practical

The goal is a workspace that runs without constant tweaking, for anyone who wants one. That is the standard every template on this site has to meet.

  • FreeThe core library is free to duplicate and keep.
  • TestedNothing is released until it has held up in daily use.
  • PracticalClean structure, logical databases, nothing decorative that doesn’t work.
